ProPresenter
Show LiveSunday captions in ProPresenter via a web source or NDI.
ProPresenter is widely used by churches for lyrics, announcements, and media. You can display LiveSunday captions either as a web/URL content layer (ProPresenter 7+) or by routing the overlay through NDI.
What you need
A saved caption link and its overlay URL from your LiveSunday dashboard (Captions → your link → copy overlay URL).
Option A: Web content layer (ProPresenter 7+)
Open your presentation
Open the presentation or create a new one where you want captions to appear.
Add a new slide with a Web Content object
- Add a new slide or edit an existing one.
- In the slide editor, insert a Web Content (or URL) object — look under the media object types or insert menu.
- Paste your LiveSunday overlay URL into the URL field.
- Resize the object to fill the slide (or position it where you want captions, e.g. bottom third).
Send it to output
Trigger the slide as you would any other. The overlay will render live captions over a transparent background, appearing on your output screen or broadcast.
Tip
Build a dedicated "captions" slide at the end of each cue or as a persistent layer, then use ProPresenter's Reflow or Stage Display to keep it visible throughout the service.
Option B: NDI or capture card
If your ProPresenter version doesn't support web URL objects, you can bring the overlay in as a video source.
Open the overlay in a browser
On the streaming computer (or any computer on the same network), open your overlay URL in Chrome or Edge. Make the window full screen or match your output resolution.
Broadcast via NDI
Use OBS (with NDI output plugin) or NDI Scan Converter to broadcast the browser window as an NDI source on your network.
Add NDI source in ProPresenter
In ProPresenter, add the NDI source as a Video Input and position it on your output. The overlay's transparent background will composite cleanly over your slides.
Match resolutions
Ensure the browser window (or NDI source) resolution matches your ProPresenter output resolution so text and positioning scale correctly.
