Choose the speaker language
Tell LiveSunday which language the speaker uses so it transcribes them correctly.
The speaker language is the language people talk in on stage. LiveSunday transcribes it first, then translates from it.
Set it
- Open Stream Controls.
- In step 2, Speaker Language, click the box.
- Type the language name and pick it from the list.
LiveSunday saves the change right away, and it stays set for your next session.
Things to know
Pick the exact variant if you see one. Some languages have regional versions, such as Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal). The right one gives better spelling and word choice.
One language per session. If your service switches language partway through, pick the language used for most of it. Captions for the other language will be weaker.
Change it between sessions. Set it before you press Start stream. If you have a guest speaker who uses another language, change it before they start.
The speaker language can't also be a translation language. LiveSunday removes it from your translation list if it's there.
See the full list in Supported languages.
Check your audio levels
Use the audio test to confirm LiveSunday hears the speaker clearly before you go live.
