What counts toward your usage

When the clock starts and stops, how minutes are counted and where to check what you've used.

LiveSunday counts the time your live sessions run. Nothing else uses minutes.

When the clock runs

The clock starts when you start a live session in the console and stops when you stop it. Everything in between counts, even quiet moments and times when you hide captions.

These things don't change how many minutes you use:

  • The number of listeners
  • The number of translation languages
  • Whether listeners use spoken translation

If the console loses its connection, the session waits up to 5 minutes for it to come back. That waiting time counts too.

Rounding

LiveSunday adds up each live session when it ends and rounds it down to the whole minute. A session of 1 hour, 30 minutes and 40 seconds counts as 90 minutes.

Don't leave a session running

A session you forget to stop keeps using minutes. By default, LiveSunday stops a live session after 3 minutes without audio. You can turn this off under the advanced streaming options on Stream Controls. Leave it on unless you have long silent stretches you want to keep. See Run your first live session.

Your usage month

On Pro and Advanced, your included hours cover one usage month. The usage month follows your billing date, not the calendar. If you subscribed on the 12th, each usage month starts on the 12th. This is true on annual plans too.

On the free trial, the minutes cover the whole trial, not a month.

Check your minutes

Open History in the dashboard. Owners and Operators can both see it.

  • Minutes Used shows the minutes used in the current usage month, or for the whole free trial.
  • Minutes Remaining shows what's left of your included time. On Pay as you go it says Metered, because every minute is billed.

Below the totals, a table lists your past live sessions.
