End a session automatically
Stop a live session after 3 minutes of silence, so you don't use minutes when someone forgets to stop.
People forget to click Stop stream. When that happens, the session keeps running and keeps using your minutes. Session Timeout ends it for you.
How it works
When Session Timeout is on, LiveSunday ends the session after 3 minutes without speech. Any words it hears restart the 3 minutes.
When the session ends this way, the console shows Session ended with the message The stream stopped after 3 minutes of silence. Captions stop on every listener's screen, as if you had clicked Stop stream.
It's on for every new organization.
Turn it on or off
On Stream Controls, open Advanced and use the Session Timeout switch.
LiveSunday reads this setting when you start a live session. A change made during a session applies from the next one. While you're live, Auto-stop in the session summary shows the setting the session is using.
When to turn it off
Turn it off if your event has more than 3 minutes without speech in the middle, such as a silent prayer, a meditation or a long instrumental piece. Then remember to click Stop stream at the end.
Swap the speaker language
Switch the speaker and translation languages mid-session when a second speaker uses the other language.
Transcripts and session history
See past live sessions, read and download transcripts in each language, and check how many minutes you've used.
