Keywords and profanity filter
Teach LiveSunday the names and terms your speakers use, and mask strong language in captions.
Speech recognition gets common words right, but it can stumble on names, places and terms it rarely hears. Keywords tell it what to listen for.
Both settings are on Stream Controls. Open Advanced and click Keywords & Filtering.
Profanity filter
The profanity filter masks strong language in captions and translations. It's on for every new organization. Turn off Profanity filter if you need every word shown as spoken.
Add keywords
- Pick a language in the menu next to Keywords. It starts on your speaker language.
- Type a word or name and press Enter. A comma also adds it.
- Repeat for each term. LiveSunday saves the list as you go.
Good keywords are names of people on your team, your organization's name, local place names, and words from your tradition that sound like everyday words.
To remove a term, click the cross next to it.
How LiveSunday uses the list
LiveSunday uses the keywords for the speaker's language. Each language has its own list, so keep a separate list for each language your speakers use. Each list holds up to 200 terms of up to 100 characters each.
For English, Spanish, Russian and Romanian, LiveSunday has a built-in list of Bible names and terms. It uses that list until you add your own keywords for the language. Your list replaces the built-in one, so add any Bible names you still need.
When changes apply
LiveSunday reads your keywords and the profanity filter when you start a live session. A change you make during a session applies from the next one.
To pull terms out of a sermon or a script, see Sermon notes.
Caption styling
Set the font, colors and layout of the captions on your livestream and on a room display.
Sermon notes
Upload your notes and let LiveSunday suggest names and terms to add as keywords.
